JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lakeside School Kelowna is seeking substitute teachers to begin immediately. Please include a cover letter, resume, teaching report, and the names of two supervisors who can comment on your teaching experience.
JOB DUTIES:
Teachers have a passion for inspiring a love of learning in children and youth. Key qualities are strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have excellent class management and organizational skills.
The class teacher will also be responsible for:

Attendance at faculty meetings

Facilitating parent evenings and meetings

Filling in as a substitute teacher in other classrooms

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)

Demonstrated ability to devise a variety of assessment processes that effectively allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills
